Training the Body, Developing the Mind
Full Season Teams
The full season teams are the premier teams in the program. Tryouts are in May and the season ends in May. Membership on these teams comes with a high commitment level. Practices are 2-3 times per week with an additonal tumbling and stunting class. Mandatory skills camps and choreography are scheduled periodically as well. Once chosen, these teams will represent Technique at national level events and compete for bids to year end competitions such as Summit, THE ONE and US Finals. Attendance, behavior and parent involvement are also very closely monitored and along with skill progression.
Half Season Teams
Half season teams are designed for those who want to compete, but do not desire a full year schedule. Placement is more age based vs. skill based. The practices are 1-2 times per week and athletes are expected to be in attendance at all of them. This program begins in October and ends in May.
Quarter Season Teams
Quarter season teams are designed for those who want to compete, but also have other commitments such as high school or college cheer. Teams are formed at the evaluation date and compete soon thereafter. The practices are 1-2 times per week and athletes are expected to be in attendance at all of them. This program begins in late January and ends in May.
